Dawn

as light breaks dawn
darkness spawns
fear is spread
black turns red
fire burns
clouds twist and turn
might took its toll
it hid the soul

smoldering fingers of light
songbirds sing with delight
warnth penetrates my skin
today's song now begins

the sky shines with colors
red, orange, purple and yellow
slowly consuming
ever resuming
scared horns fall
with echoed calls
a small smile penetrates
touching my infinte space
