As I spend the day with my children, I reinforce the commitment to never allow there to be an excuse to shame, blame or dismiss my child. To do so would only serve to feed my own ego. Children and even strangers are our mirror into ourself. These experiences provide first hand observation of our own minds and where they go. Here are some questions:
How well have I mastered myself? Where is my current emotional work and am I willing to stay present with my emotion without reacting...
My children are worth it and so am I... How about you? You are worth it too.
